Space saver while protecting expensive clothes
I got these because my winter clothes usually just sit in the closet and end up dusty or dirty by next winter. These hanging vacuum storage bags totally fixed that. I packed my coats and jackets, vacuumed the air out, and hung them up—super easy and neat. When I took them out again, everything was clean and fresh. Plus, they saved a ton of closet space. They're really handy for long-term storage of winter clothes. As for quality, I had no issues with sealing, and they're thick enough to handle heavy coats. My only concern is that the plastic hanger hooks don't seem super durable. Probably best to store a max of 3 heavy coats per bag. Other than that, it's a great way to store clothes for a long time.

    The hanging design is great for saving space, and the seals seem to hold compression well. Plus, the plastic is thick and durable, making it a decent way to save space storing bulky coats and jackets.
    On the downside – the included hooks feel a bit cheap and flimsy, and the vacuum port isn’t great.
    Overall, they’re not bad, bit not great.

    Easy To Use Hanging Vacuum Storage Bags

    I bought these hanging vacuum storage bags for one reason. My closet space is rather limited, and whenever I hang up clothing in my closet it always feels like a tight fit. I have some suits that I rarely use but they take up a lot of room on the rack on my closet. If Only I could suck all of the air out of them so they reduce in size to make more room on the rack. This 5-pack of space saver bags from Farest will do just that!

    I have several other vacuum storage bags in bins that I use for comforters and other heavy blankets when they are not in use. These space saver bags can reduce the size of the items by more than half! However, I did not have any of these space savers that I could keep hanging in my closet. I bought this 5-pack of bags for less than $28. Each bag is the same size as they measure 53 inches tall and 25.4 inches across. Simply hang your suit, or skirt or dress inside the bag, and then zip closed. Next, attach your vacuum hose to the valve near the bottom of the bag, and turn on the vacuum. You will see the air being sucked out of the inside of the bag and out of the clothing. Once all the air is removed, close the valve to prevent the air from entering the bag. Now your garment is a fraction of the original size and you will have extra space on the rack for other clothing!

    Not only is the benefit having extra room to hang clothing up in the closet, there are also other positives. These bags are heavy duty, waterproof, and will protect your clothes from dust and mites. The bags have a locking design on them to keep them from falling off the rack. Another benefit is that your freshly pressed garment will stay wrinkle-free as long as it stays in the airtight bag and be ready for use whenever you need it. These bags can hold multiple items each, so even though there are 5 bags, you can load each bag with items that weigh up to 15 pounds. This is one of the better purchases I have made recently. I was able to free up a pretty good amount of space in my closet using this space saver system, and I am thinking these bags would make a great gift this holiday season.

    I bought these because my closet was getting OUT OF CONTROL, and these actually helped a ton. They are super easy to use, just hang your clothes, zip them up, hook up the vacuum, and watch everything shrink down. They function perfectly. I was shocked at how much space they freed up.They feel nice and thick, not flimsy at all, and once the air is out they stay sealed. I’ve used them for everything thaat I dont use ALL THE TIME but i dont want to get rid of! They stay protected from dust and which i LOVE! I also love that they hang instead of sitting in bins, it makes grabbing things so much easier later.
    For the money, I think these are an AWESOME value. If you’re tight on closet space like me, these are a no brainer. I would absolutely buy them again and recommend them to anyone trying to organize without buying a whole new closet system.

    I got these bags to store my winter coats and bedding and they worked wonderfully. I had no issues fitting 5-6 full length coats or 2-3 Queen-size duvets in each and they shrunk down to only a few inches thick. The valve is very simple to use and I didn't notice any air leakage at all once they were vacuumed (you just have to make sure you have a good seal on the zipper). It's handy that the hanger attachment is attachable/removable while the bag is still sealed.

    Our family is a bigtime fan of vacuum storage bags. We've been using various sizes, brands and types for several years to store blankets, pillows, and assorted fabric type items. They really help to save space. This variety is quite different from the rectangular or square ones we've used before.

    I thought this product would help me to compress my closet full of pre-retirement suits and sport coat/slack outfits to make some room for other things. I can report that it does accomplish that mission but it's not as simple as stuffing several blankets in a bag. First off, it's not easy to "file" suits on hangers into these bags. You really need to hang the bag and then hang the suits in the bag, one at a time. Hanging the first item isn't too bad but keeping each suit flat while hanging the next one on top of the previous one isn't quite so simple.
    Sealing the closure on such long bags (yes even the short ones are very long) is another laborious task. Of course you can lay the bag down to make that easier but then the hangers tend to pop out of the slots and the clothing in the bag gets rather unsettled and ready to be wrinkled.

    The vacuuming part is easy and it does seal and compress pretty well. The finished product takes a lot less space in my closet but I'm not sure it's worth the effort. If you look at the photos, I did manage to get 5 suits into the bag (which is what each bag holds in terms garmets on hangers) but it was a cumbersome process and took some time. And by the way, while compressing 5 suits does save a lot of space, the weight of the finished package is still the same and a bag with 5 suits is a very heavy package to hang. Maybe it will work better for lighter weight clothing?

    All in all it's not a bad product but since I've now been retired for a number of years now and rarely wear a suit, this exercise may have convinced me that it makes more sense to save space by donating!
